I can't remember life before drawing. I see beauty and humor in so many things and have the unique ability to transfer that onto paper. Most days I feel like the luckiest person in the world to work in my lifelong passion—creating art. It's what I was born to do.

When it comes to Graphic Design, branding is one of my favorite aspects. Creating fresh voices and identities that break through the clutter really gives me a rush. I’m a logo nerd at heart.

From web design, ad campaigns, custom portraits, invitations, announcements and event branding to creatively designed and illustrated books, my work runs the gamut. If it needs design, I can help.

I've had the pleasure of working with Discovery Communications on a variety of projects including Shark Week,  but most recently I've been working as the co-founder and creative director at Dig Local Asheville and running a nonprofit called Food Connection, as well. (see DigLocal.com and Food-Connection.org)

My formal education: I studied Art Direction at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta for a year then graduated from the Creative Circus a year later. Prior to that I received my B.A. in English from Presbyterian College.

I’ve worked on both the East and West Coasts (including two really fun agencies in Portland, Oregon) and love the clients I've been fortunate enough to work with along the way.

Living amidst the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville, NC, I am inspired daily by the artistic community, natural beauty, and interesting, eclectic people that surround me.
